The crow. Associated with Apollo, one story of the constellation’s origin claims the crow lied to Apollo about being kept from retrieving a cup of water by a snake, and upon discovery of the lie, Apollo flung the bird, the cup, and the snake into the sky. They became the constellations Corvus, Crater, and Hydra, respectively.
